Vintage Valentine Package, February 12 & 13, 2010

Elias Child House would like to invite you to partake in a unique experience for savvy sweethearts - the Vintage Valentine Package. Arrive at your B&B Friday and be greeted with champagne, chocolates and flowers. A hearty soup simmers on the hearth to warm you from the cold. The crackling fire in your bed chamber lulls you to slumber.

Saturday, after a full country breakfast, explore the local shops and antique stores. Return to your B&B Saturday evening to gather and travel to nearby Taylor Brooke Winery (www.taylorbrookewinery.com). At the winery we will start with a wine tasting followed by a spectacular three-course winemaker's dinner specially prepared by Bella's Bistro, Market and Gelateria (www.bellasbistromarket.com).

After dinner, the winemaker/owner, Richard Auger, will take you through every aspect of the manufacturing and bottling process. Guests will participate in all phases of the process and will be able to take home the product they've bottled. Conclude the evening with specially prepared desserts paired with three delicious dessert wines, including Taylor Brooke's famous Chocolate Essence. After a good night's sleep, and another full country breakfast, you leave relaxed and satisfied!

The price of $450.00 per couple (tax included) consists of two nights lodging, a bottle of champagne, chocolates, flowers, two breakfasts, the winemaker's dinner, wine tour, wine making experience, tasting and souvenir wine glasses to accompany the free bottle of wine.
